Hello and thank you for taking the time to consider me as your potential therapist. I am a registered Chaplain, licensed minister with Doctorates and certifications with a focus in CBT and DBT. I have a both MFTC and LPCC permits. I have previously worked as a Mental Health professional for CDOC. Additionally, assisted troubled teens within the Boy’s Residential Treatment Centers, teaching Wellness Living and Anger Management. I have completed all CAC training, presently completing requirements for a License Addiction Counselor (LAC). I have a Master’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Human Services Counseling, Marriage & Family. Postgraduate in Criminal Justice counseling, the final stages of Ph.D. in Psychology.
My Approach & Philosophy
I enjoy assisting people whenever possible indicative of 26 years of military service and 35 years of pastoral service. I specialize in areas of trauma. My certifications OBH CMIT, OBH CCBT DBT, and completing MBSR certification. I work with those struggling with Suicidal Ideation, Self-Injurious Behaviors, Depression, Anxiety, developmental challenges, and sexual addictions.
We all have experienced ,struggles ,and at times feel as if no one understands our plight. It is my desire to use the tools and techniques that I have gained over the years to help others navigate through life’s difficulties. Counseling with the youth and adult population include corrections and residential homes, couples and Family Counseling. Let’s talk.
